everything was brand new as always. professional staff, the room was good sized and i loved very tranquil location. food, provided there was very tasty. the rooms in the hotel were pretty big.

The location was PEACEFUL, you may take train on Karasuma train station within 20 minutes walk from here. Great place for 4 nights.

A superb bar does the trick. Twin room had heating, a work desk and flat-screen television, everything worked for us.
